Sam and I went to the park on California Street to enjoy the beautiful sunshine. It was the place to be...as there were a bunch of kids all over the place. He met a sweet dog who became an instant friend. It was a beautiful big poodle; and boy did we have fun playing fetch with her.
We kicked his soccer ball around...he tried sharing it with the dog, but she was only interested in her tennis ball. There are a lot of rocks and roots to trip on out there, so Sam fell a few times, but we still had fun. We can handle a few scratches.
And of course we slid down the slide. I even got in on the action and took a ride down the big slide with Sam a few times. After the playground we went and saw Ron at work for a minute; then we were off to McDonalds to share an ice-cream. It was a fun afternoon.
