card wreath
i started with some scrapbook paper, a piece of cardboard, glue, and some clothespins.
thanks to the tutorial, i ended up with a nice little wreath to hang Christmas cards on. and it's not so Christmasy that i can't use it throughout the year for other things. i may just change the red velvet bow to a light teal bow and find another use...

photo workshop
i went to a click workshop just over a week ago and learned a lot. dave, jennifer and i all went together and learned how to operate our cameras in manual mode. i got in on the deal via groupon. (love groupon, btw...)

as you can see, i learned how to properly expose a picture after incorrectly overexposing. i'm still figuring this out a bit.

then after a full afternoon of all things photographic, we went to b and pops' house for a belated thanksgiving feast. my brother definitely out-ate everyone! love you, bro.
laney even got in on the action at the adult table. she leaned in as if she was taking part in the conversation. what a nice saturday.

we had the cutest little models! these girls were adorable...

Monday night was a very special night. We went to B and Pops' house and had dinner with all four grandparents. The Philleys were in town to help out with Ron's big tonsillectomy. My aunt and uncle were visiting from Florida. So we had a nice little family dinner. Our kids were in heaven getting to be with Grandee, Pappy, B, and Pops at the same time. And they enjoyed Jim and Sherry as well...
