We went to Aldridge Gardens last weekend to watch birds. Sam completed a bird journal for school a few weeks ago and has been gazing at them ever since. Pops' eagerness to watch birds with him has "fueled the flames" so to speak. Before we started the walk Sam informed us there was only one rule: watch out for snakes. (I have a feeling this is what his teacher told his class when they went on their bird walk.) Yes, he's wearing binoculars around his neck.
We made our way to the lake and found some gentlemen playing with their boats. It was quite humorous to me. The boys loved it!
Luke was thrilled when he found a walking stick.
He thought it was awesome.
I think we only saw 2 or 3 birds, but it was still worth our time. It was beautiful out there.
