It's 12:31 at night, which is very late for a mother of 3 young kids. My neighbors across the street called just after 11 to tell us their house is flooding. They need a place to crash for the night. So our little family of 5 and our live-in nanny Pops has grown by 5 more people, a cat, and a dog. Please pray for our neighbors; they are in shock and scared of what they will find when they go home...

**UPDATE:
for those of you who have asked, my neighbors ventured back over to their house around 4:30 this morning. they arrived to a back porch completely covered in water and a crawl space filled with water. when my neighbor got here last night i just hugged her. she was in tears, convinced her house was going to be ruined. i didn't say much, but told her God was our provider. (in my reformed mind i knew however he chose to do it that he would provide for them.) and he did! in his providence the water stopped at the top of their back porch, 3 inches from the door and window openings. so the interior of their house did not flood, just the crawl space. praise the Lord!
