sick kids

i haven't felt like blogging much over the past few weeks. but i'm hoping that will change soon.

2 weeks ago luke came down with a 48-hour stomach virus. yuck. after "cleaning up" after luke, sam gets the same virus. but his lasted 4 days! on day 2 of sam's virus, laney woke up with a crusty left ear. i am not a doctor, but i do know that a crusty ear is probably not a good thing. so we took her to the doctor, along with a doggy-bag for sam, and her left ear drum had burst. basically she had an infection that didn't drain properly. result: hole in ear drum. she just finished 10 days of antibiotics friday and woke up saturday with a crusty right ear. my word! so i took her to the doctor yesterday and she has a busted right ear drum now. but this time, she also has a double ear infection. so we just started another 10 days of medicine.

please don't feel sorry for me. this is a breeze compared to what some moms go through. i'll suck it up. hopefully i will have healthy kids soon.
